QUOTA MEMORIAL PARK

Public BBQ

Quota Memorial Park offers an appealing mix of activities centered around the gentle Petrie Creek, where platypus inhabit the waterways for those patient enough to sit quietly and observe. The park features both fenced and non-fenced playgrounds situated side by side, accommodating families with varying supervision needs. The skate park attracts a respectful multigenerational crowd, with older skaters typically mindful of younger riders sharing the space. Two bridges span Petrie Creek, connecting pathways that meander alongside the water in this dog-friendly space. Basic amenities include water fountains, taps, toilets, and BBQ facilities, though vandalism affects the toilet block periodically. A notable mural adds visual interest to the grounds. The atmosphere shifts considerably when the nearby high school releases students, making timing worth considering for a more peaceful visit. While some amenities may not match promotional expectations, the park's natural creek setting and variety of recreational options create an accessible community space.
